President Trump took his social media platform, Truth Social, yesterday to convey a message to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He started his message by noting that:
Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn't be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and "TRUMP," will never be able to settle.
President Trump then proceeded by listing the money lost to Ukraine and that Zelenskyy rules without elections, like a “dictator”. The quarrel between the two looks to have started after President Zelenskyy accused President Trump of living in a “disinformation space”.
Many on the Right have celebrated the outburst of President Trump, but this may turn out to be a strategic mistake. Let’s now look, what this could mean through a seven-point worst-case scenario.
